Lucas Donato
Age: 17
Lucas's racing journey began a few years ago when he jumped into a rental kart for the first time. What started as a single recreational experience quickly evolved into a true passion for competitive kart racing.
He made his mark with LO206, where he developed critical racing fundamentals in local and regional events. Lucas demonstrated a skilled, strong pace and earned a reputation as an athlete who consistently remained poised while weathering the many challenges that occur on the track.
Recognized for his rapid development, Lucas transitioned into high-performance karting, stepping into the KA100 class—one of the most ambitious and technically demanding categories in North American karting.
Lucas has advanced methodically through the karting ranks, earning numerous impressive victories along the way. His success is rooted in a commitment to physical fitness and race data analysis combined with the perseverance and discipline instilled in him while earning his black belt in Taekwondo.
Lucas is currently a member of the Dokken Racing Team, where he benefits from elite coaching, professional race engineering, and a competitive environment that accelerates driver development.

Lucas competes in Spec Miata, gaining valuable experience in closed-wheel racing, longer race formats and team-based race strategy. This cross-discipline approach has strengthened his overall race craft and prepared him for future transitions into advanced motorsports categories.
2026 is a pivotal year in his career. He will drive in national-level KA100 senior racing events, including the Stars Championship Series and the Florida Karting Championship Series, while continuing endurance and sprint racing in Spec Miata with organizations such as NASA, FARA and ChampCar. These campaigns will place Lucas on some of the country’s most demanding circuits against top-tier competition.
Off track, Lucas is recognized for his professionalism, coachability, and relentless work ethic. He is deeply committed to sports performance and endurance training, working with one of the countries most trusted strength and conditioning coaches as well as sharpening his skills on the track alongside the top drivers in the country.
When he is not physically on the track, he's on his home Sim rig, studying track layouts and racing lines. This athlete-student mindset is at the core of his dedication to personal growth and accountability.
Lucas Donato represents an excellent prospect for teams, partners, and sponsors seeking to align with a young emerging American racing talent poised for long-term success.
